There are fanboys on both sides, but it seems there are more Sony fanboys than 360. That's probably the reason they seem worse.
I still dont understand why almost every 360/PS3 article is over run with fans bashing a particular console for no apparent reason. I don't understand the fanboy mentality. Why so fervently defend a console and destroy the other? What do you gain from doing that? I don't get it, but it's a huge problem on this site. Both sides.
I didn't know a little advertising meant that a company thought a title wasn't going to sell well. They must have been really worried about Halo 2 and 3.

It's clear you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to Halo's story. Your whole post made no sense and did a piss poor job of summing up the story. Covenant buildings on Earth? Finding Master Chief? haha. Wow.
What do you people get from bashing a console? Is your life so terrible that the only joy you get is from coming on a website and making fun of a machine and the people that enjoy it? Is it because you get picked on in real life? Seriously, I'm curious as to why because there has to be some underlying issues. No one does that kind of thing just for fun. I recommend getting some help for whatever it is.

And I knew the colors of Halo would come up. lol. It always does. I'm kind of shocked people want everything to be so dull and boring. I remember back when colorful was a good thing. Most of the great old games had a lot of color.

The second disc, which is Halo 3 multiplayer, still shouldn't be installed. The article didn't clarify that. Only the first disc is optimized for installation to the HDD.
I wonder what you think of Metal Gear, Ratchet and Clank, and other franchises with 5 or more games? Are they also milking it? I know I don't think they are. as long as they keep the quality, then I have no problem. And whether you like it or not, Bungie's Halo games have always been quality games. Saying the story sucks because there is no Master Chief is moronic at best. To a lot of people, that makes the story more interesting. And yes, you get 3 new maps, but you conveniently forgot Firefight.

asked some good questions; not really good ones about ODST, but good about the other projects. I had no idea that the non-Halo game they were working on has been in development for a year now. It must be well along then. And it seems Reach is in a very advanced state, which could mean having the beta sooner rather than later.
they aren't super soldiers covered in a body suit of armor. They're just regular humans. They have a helmet and armor in some other places but it isn't a full body suit of armor.
what makes a game worth 60 bucks to you. Bioshock had only a campaign and a lot of people bought that for 60 bucks. Bioshock had a longer campaign but the addition of Firefight adds to the replay ability of ODST. Games like Bioshock had little to make you want to play it again, but ODST has these secret things you can find that will make the fans want to play through a few times just to find them all. (kind of like skulls from the other 3.)
To me, the price is more than justified...
They point out in the video that there are things throughout the city you can find. Kind of like skulls, i suppose. (although they are not skulls)I know that will extend the length of the campaign for me.
Do you guys not comprehend things very well? Selective reading and hearing, I suppose. The basic campaign without getting any of the extra stuff is less than Halo 3. If you want to get some of the other things hidden around the city, it'll easily take longer than Halo 3. They clearly pointed out there are things other than the regular campaign missions to do. I know I'll be looking for all those things.

The developer was never in question. It was Bungie from the start. And no, they will not use the same engine. Bungie has stated numerous times that it is a completely new image.
that most of it was darker and grittier. There is one episode that is not cannon and that's the one that looks like pokemon or something. I'll reserve judgment until I see an actual episode. It could be very, very good.
And anyone saying Halo is nothing more than a crappy marine vs aliens story has never bothered to learn some of the back story. The story for this game rivals anything ever made and definitely outdoes anything that was originally a game and not a movie.
this a Bungie developed game. I do agree, however, that this is definitely a game to keep your eyes on. I have very high hopes for this game. It will probably own 2010.
